Description

Premium dried Margaret Roberts lavender rice (Lavandula × intermedia “Margaret Roberts”). Hand-stripped, carefully dried buds with a strong, invigorating herbaceous fragrance. Ideal for potpourri, decorative crafts, wedding confetti, and natural sachets. Ornamental use only – not for culinary applications. Freshly produced by our farm. No pesticides and herbicides. 100% natural and organic.

Margaret Roberts lavender rice is crafted from the dried flower buds of South Africa’s beloved Lavandula ×  hybrid. Known for its vigorous growth and near-year-round flowering in Gauteng, this variety produces vibrant, papery bracts that retain their rich purple hue and potent fragrance long after drying.
Unlike true English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Margaret Roberts has a higher camphor content, giving it a robust, cleansing scent that’s perfect for decorative and aromatic applications—but not recommended for ingestion.

Perfect For:
• Wedding & event confetti (photo-ready, biodegradable, strong aromatic presence)
• Homemade potpourri & decorative bowls
• Linen sachets & wardrobe fresheners
• Natural moth & insect repellent blends
• Craft projects, resin art, and sensory bins

Why Choose Lavender SA?
✓ Locally Grown: Harvested and prepared fresh from our  Pretoria East – never imported or stored for months.

Storage & Shelf Life
Store in an airtight, light-proof container in a cool, dry place. Properly stored, dried Margaret Roberts buds can retain their colour for a few months and fragrance.

Important Safety & Use Note
This product is ornamental only. Due to its higher camphor content (5–15%), it is not food-grade and should not be used in teas, baking, infused oils, or any culinary applications. For culinary-grade lavender, please explore our Hidcote or Munstead (Lavandula angustifolia) range.
